2017 Cancer Survivorship Symposium

The 2017 Cancer Survivorship Symposium: Advancing Care and Research is a primary care and oncology collaboration among the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Physicians, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. The Symposium provides information about survivorship issues faced by both primary care physicians and oncologists throughout the cancer care continuum. The Symposium represents an innovative approach to education and patient care with a program featuring topics from surveillance for recurrence and care-delivery models to multidisciplinary education and training. Presentations of scientific research are accompanied by contextual discussions, allowing for a more complete perspective on current data. Highlights include the inaugural Ellen L. Stovall Award and Lecture, a Presidents Panel including leadership from the cosponsoring organizations, topical breakout sessions, and networking events.
